WHAT WE DO

SMELA GmbH develops, manufactures and distributes compact and energy-efficient electromechanical drives. The integration of our drives into production and packaging systems ensures that a wide variety of everyday objects - from smartphones to toothbrushes - can be produced and packaged more ecologically and economically. Our mission is to enable all companies in the world to manufacture their products more conveniently, economically and sustainably. We, the SMELA family, stand fully behind our specially designed and patented products and approach everyday work with a great deal of passion and enthusiasm.

Numerous awards that we have won in recent years also speak for us. By the way, with the 2nd place in the ranking we belong to the "TOP50 Start-ups Germany".

WHY WE NEED YOU

As an assembly and production employee, you are responsible for SMELA's future and the realization of our products at the heart of value creation. In close cooperation with the entire team, you can give free rein to your structured streak, but also continuously optimize processes and tools through foresight, train yourself and grow together with us.

WHAT YOU ACHIEVE WITH US

  • You will be responsible for the assembly and inspection of parts and assemblies at various workstations and produce the innovative SMELA actuators.
  • Your responsibility is to ensure the quality of incoming and outgoing goods and to monitor, control and maintain the warehouse both physically and organisationally.
  • You monitor processes and eliminate defined malfunctions
  • You carry out measurements (mechanical, electrical)
  • Together with colleagues, you will optimise assembly processes, scale up production and actively shape internal company processes. You will be responsible for planning and controlling assembly processes and support the development of new tools in a young environment.
  • Thinking along with us is not only allowed but encouraged: process optimizations in cooperation with other areas of the company are therefore welcome.

WHO YOU ARE

  • You have completed vocational training, preferably in the field of mechanics, mechatronics, electronics, metal or a comparable qualification.
  • Your heart beats for electromechanics and you have even been able to gain some experience in production at an industrial company.
  • You have a good command of German and/or English.
  • You work in a structured manner and demonstrate a good sense for urgent tasks.
  • You are a real team player.
  • Do you have additional or other skills that would suit us? Then please let us know!
